योग म्हणजे नेमकं काय..?

योग संसारी,संन्यासी, तंत्रमार्गी सर्वांसाठी आहे. योग आदर्श जीवन प्रणाली आहे. योग हा जीवन जगण्याचा संतुलित, संपन्न, सुलभ सुयोग्य मार्ग आहे. फक्‍त योगोपचार म्हणजे योग नाही. अरण्यवास, दाढी वाढवणे,भगवे कपडे घालणे, चमत्कार , सिद्धी, शाप,यामुळे योगविद्या गूढ समजली जात होती. परंतु तशी ती नाही. शास्त्रज्ञांना प्रयोगासाठी प्रयोगशाळा लागते. व अनुभवायचं ते (ज्ञेय) व ती क्रिया साधायची हीच त्रिपुटी ती साधते म्हणजे खरा योग व ते साधणारा खरा योगी. तो निसंग असतो. अलिप्त असतो. तरीही तो कर्मयोगी ताबा मिळवून राजयोगी होतो. सर्व योगमार्गाचा समन्वय साधत योगेश्‍वर होतो. ते कधी ना कधी, कोणत्याही जन्मात होईल. सुरुवात आता आहोत तेथूनच करायची,उद्दिष्टप्रातीसाठी प्रयत्नयोग आचारयचा. ध्येयाकडे वाटचाल करायची.21 जूनला सर्वात मोठ्या दिवशी किमान निश्‍चय व प्रयत्न सुरु तर करूयात.

योग हा शब्द अत्यंत सहजपणे व चुकीच्या अर्थाने वापरला जातो. योग म्हणजे फक्‍त योगासने नाहीत. योग म्हणजे ध्यान नाही. योग म्हणजे हास्यक्‍लब मधील हसणे नाही. कृत्रिम रित्या केलेले संमोहन म्हणजेही योग नव्हे. योग म्हणजे नियमपालनही नाही. सध्या जे पेव फुटले ते म्हणजे योगाच्या प्रकारातील एकेक अंगाचे सादरीकरण व त्यालाच योग संबोधायचे. कुंडलिनी योगा, पॉवरयोगा असे परदेशातही प्रकार करतात. मुळात योग हाच योग्य शब्द आहे. योगा नव्हे. योग याचा अर्थ जोडणे. (युज धातू) आंग्लाळलेले. लोक योगाचा योगा हा चुकीचा उच्चार करतात व त्या आंग्लाळलेल्या चुकीची माहिती मर्यादित माहिती योग म्हणून इतरांना सांगतात.

खरा योग व योगी फारच क्‍वचित, लाखात एखादाच असतो. आसने व प्राणायाम इ. मार्गाने रुग्णाला बरे करणाऱ्या पद्धतीला योगोपचार म्हणतात. जेथे फक्‍त आसने व प्राणायाम शिकवतात. त्या योगसंस्था योगशिक्षकही हे शिकवू शकतात. पण योगशिक्षक व योगगुरू यात फरक आहे. वर्षानुवर्षे मी योगासने प्राणायाम करतोय. म्हणून कोणीही बाबा योगगुरू होऊ शकत नाही. तो योगशिक्षकच राहतो. प्राणायामाने त्याचा चेहरा जरी तेजस्वी झाला तरी शिक्षक तो शिक्षकच. तो गुरू नव्हे. गुरू या शब्दाची व्याप्ती खूपच व्यापक मोठी आहे. उदाहरण द्यायचं तर अलीकडचे योगगुरू मनोहर हरकरे यांचं देता येईल. बाकी योगशिक्षकच म्हणावे लागतील.

योगाचे 5 प्रकारे वर्णन करता येईल.

भक्‍तीयोग- कोणत्याही मानवनिर्मित दैवतावर अपरंपार श्रद्धा ठेवून केलेला योग म्हणजे भक्‍तीयोग. सर्व संत भक्‍तीयोगाचे आचरण करणारे होते. पांडुरंग हे दैवत व त्याची भक्‍ती हा उपाय करणारे संत भक्‍तीयोगाचे पालन करणारे होते. ज्याच्या त्याच्या स्वभावाप्रमाणे भक्‍ती कुणाला जवळची वाटते. टाळ कुटून रामनाम, विठठल नाम घेतले की, एकादशीला रात्री जागून भजने म्हटली की, नियमित वारीला गेले की, चारीधाम यात्रा, नर्मदा, परिक्रमा केली की, भक्‍तीयोग साधता येत नाही. खरे भक्‍त फारच थोडे. बाकीचे भाकडभक्‍ती करणारेच जास्त. त्यांना भक्‍तीयोग साधता येत नाही. जमत त्याहून नाही. भक्‍ती योग सर्वात अवघड योग आहे. कांताभक्‍ती करणारे,पूर्ण समर्पण या हेतूने करणारे कदाचित भक्‍तीयोगाच्या पायरीपर्यंत पोचू शकतील. राजयोगी,हययोगी, ध्यानयोगी, भक्‍ती करतीलच असे नाही.

कर्मयोग- गीतेत सांगितलेला गृहस्थाश्रमी माणसाने,सामान्यांनी आचरायचा योग हा कर्मयोग कोणतीही अपेक्षा न ठेवता कर्म करीत आहे. ही शिकवण यातून मिळते. सामान्य लोक अपेक्षा ठेवनूच भलेबुरे कर्म करीत राहतात. त्याच एक चुकीचे तत्वज्ञान बनवतात. तो कर्मयोग नाही, निस्वार्थी निर्लेप, नि:स्पृह या वृत्तीने केलेले कर्म हा कर्मयोग तो करणारे कर्मयोगी उदा. कर्मवीर भाऊराव पाटील (रयत शिक्षण संस्थेचे संस्थापक)

राजयोग- मनावर ताबा ठेवून त्यातून साधना करणारे राजयोगाचे उपासक

विवेकानंदांनी थोडा फार राजयोग आचरणात आणला पण त्याला हटयोगाची जोड दिली नाही. आहारविहार व्यायामाकडे दुर्लक्ष केले. त्यामुळे मृत्यू लवकर तीही 5/6 रोगांची शिकार झाल्यावर आला. पुराणातील जनक हा राजयोगी शुक जास्त समर्पक उदाहरण म्हणून सांगता येईल. अर्वाचिन काळात खरे राजयोगी म्हणून सांगणार कोणीी सांगता येणार नाही.

ज्ञानयोग- ज्ञानाच्या मार्गाने “मी’ ची जाणीव व त्यातून साधना करणारे ज्ञानयोगी सर्वात उत्तम उदाहरण ज्ञानेश्‍वर आपलं नाव सर्वार्थाने सार्थ करणारे ज्ञानेश्‍वर, निवृत्ती, सोपान व मुक्‍ता ही ज्ञानयोग्यांची उदाहरणे. या ज्ञानयोग्यांना संसाराची गरज नाही. ज्ञानसाधना करीत राहणे व अंर्तमुख होऊन जीव-शिवाची भेट घडविणे हे ज्ञानयोगाचे काम.

हाही अवघड योग आहे. ज्याचा जसा स्वभाव तसा तो ज्ञानमार्गाची कास धरतो. सामान्यांसाठी हा मार्ग नाहीच. अ सामान्यासाठीच हा मार्ग.

हटयोग- आसने व प्राणायाम यातून साधना करणारे मार्ग हटयोग व तो करणारा हटयोगी सामान्य फक्‍त आसने व प्राणायाममार्फत पोचतात. फारतर ध्यानापर्यंत समाधी अवस्था प्राप्त करणे दुर्मिळच.

योगाचे हे मार्ग आपले शिक्षण, क्षमता, योग्यता, स्वभाव आवड यावर माणसाने निवडायला हवेत. एका योगमार्गातून दुसऱ्या मार्गाकडे सहज जाताही येते. एकावेळी दोन योगमार्गही आचारता येतात. सुरुवात कुठुनही केली तरी अंतिमत: शरीर, मन या मार्गातून आत्मज्ञान मिळवले. हाच सर्व मार्गाचा शेवट आहे. पण तसे आत्मज्ञानी दुर्मिळच. पुन्हा अर्वाचित आत्मज्ञानी म्हणवणारे, स्वयंघोषित केलेले त्यांचे व्यावहारिक वर्तन, घोटाळे, कट, कारस्थाने याची सांगड घालताच येत नाही असे आत्मज्ञानी खरे योगी नाहीत. आत्मज्ञानीही नाहीत ते उत्तम संवाद साधतील, प्रवचने कितने करतील. लोकांच्या हृदयाला हात घालतील. पण तरीही त्यांना योग कळला असे म्हणता येणार नाही.बरेचजण पहिल्या पायरीवर अडतात. शरीरपातळीवर काही मनोपातळीपर्यंत येतात. आत्म्यापर्यंत तुरळक पोहचतात.

योग संसारी,संन्यासी, तंत्रमार्गी सर्वांसाठी आहे. योग आदर्श जीवन प्रणाली आहे. योग हा जीवन जगण्याचा संतुलित, संपन्न, सुलभ सुयोग्य मार्ग आहे. फक्‍त योगोपचार म्हणजे योग नाही. अरण्यवास, दाढी वाढवणे,भगवे कपडे घालणे, चमत्कार , सिद्धी, शाप,यामुळे योगविद्या गूढ समजली जात होती. परंतु तशी ती नाही. शास्त्रज्ञांना प्रयोगासाठी प्रयोगशाळा लागते. व अनुभवायचं ते (ज्ञेय) व ती क्रिया साधायची हीच त्रिपुटी ती साधते म्हणजे खरा योग व ते साधणारा खरा योगी. तो निसंग असतो. अलिप्त असतो. तरीही तो कर्मयोगी ताबा मिळवून राजयोगी होतो. सर्व योगमार्गाचा समन्वय साधत योगेश्‍वर होतो. ते कधी ना कधी, कोणत्याही जन्मात होईल. सुरुवात आता आहोत तेथूनच करायची, उद्दिष्टप्रातीसाठी प्रयत्नयोग आचारयचा. ध्येयाकडे वाटचाल करायची. 21 जूनला सर्वात मोठ्या दिवशी किमान निश्‍चय व प्रयत्न सुरु तर करूयात.
