Shravan Somwar In Marathi | मंगळागौरः महिलांचा आनंदोत्सव
श्रावण महिन्याला शुद्ध आणि सात्विकतेचे आवरण आहे. म्हणूनच या महिन्यात अनेक सण समारंभ साजरे केले जातात. अगदी घरगुती सणांचाही हा महिना आहे. लग्न झालेल्या मुलींची मंगळागौर ही याच महिन्यातील मंगळवारी साजरी केली जाते. पूर्वजांनी अतिशय कल्पकतेने धार्मिकतेशी याचा संबंध जोडून महिलांच्या कला-गुणांना आणि मुख्य म्हणजे रिलॅक्स व्हायला या सणाची योजना केली आहे. रोजच्या कामाच्या धबडग्यात हरवलेल्या महिला मंगळागौरीच्या निमित्ताने धमाल करून तोपर्यंतचे कष्ट, श्रम विसरतात आणि ताज्यातवान्या होतात.

कहाणी मंगळागौरीची
अशी भिक्षा झोळीत घातली. बोवांचा नेम मोडला. बाईवर फार रागावला. मूलबाळ होणार नाही. असा शाप दिला. तिनं त्याचे पाय धरले. बोवांनी उ:शाप दिला. बोवा म्हणाले, आपल्या नवर्याला सांग, निळ्या घोड्यावर बस, निळी वस्त्र परिधान कर, रानात जा, जिथं घोडा अडेल तिथं खण. देवीचं देऊळ लागेल, तिची प्रार्थना कर. ती तुला पुत्र देईल, असं बोलून बोवा चालता झाला.
तिनं आपल्या पतीस सांगितलं. वाणी रानांत गेला. घोडा अडला, तिथं खणलं. देवीचं देऊळ लागलं. सुवर्णाचं देऊळ आहे, हिरेजडिताचे खांब आहेत, माणकांचे कळस आहेत, आत देवीची मूर्ती आहे. त्याने मनोभावे पूजा केली. त्याला देवी प्रसन्न झाली. वर माग म्हणाली, घरदारं आहेत, गुरंढोरं आहेत, धनद्रव्य आहे, पोटी पुत्र नाही म्हणून दुखी आहे. देवी म्हणाली, तुला संततीचं सुख नाही. मी प्रसन्न झाले आहे. तुला पुत्र देते. अल्पायुषी पुत्र घेतलास तर गुणी मिळेल, दीर्घायुषी घेतलास तर जन्मांध होईल. कन्या घेतलीस तर बालविधवा होईल, इच्छा असेल ते मागून घे! त्यानं अल्पायुषी पुत्र मागितला. देवीनं सांगितलं. माझ्या मागल्या बाजूला जा, तिथं एक गणपती आहे, त्याच्या मांगे आंब्याचं झाड आहे. गणपतीच्या दोंदावर पाय दे, एक फळ घे, घरी जाऊन बायकोला खाऊ घाल, म्हणजे तुझा कार्यभाग होईल. देवी अदृश्य झाली.
वाणी देवळामागं गेला, गणपतीच्या दोंदावर पाय दिला, झाडावर चढला, पोटभर आंबे खाल्ले, घरी नेण्याकरीता घेतले. खाली उतरून पाहू लागला. तो मोटेत आंबा एकच आहे. असं चारपाच वेळा झालं. गणपतीला त्रास झाला. त्यानं सांगितलं, तुझ्या नशिबी एकच फळ आहे. फळ घेऊन घरी आला. बायकोला खाऊ घातलं. ती गरोदर राहिली. दिवसामासा गर्भ वाढू लागला. नवमास पूर्ण झाले. वाण्याची बायको बाळंतीण झाली. मुलगा झाला. उभयतांना मोठा आनंद झाला. दिवसामासी वाढू लागला. आठव्या वर्षी मुंज केली. दहाव्या वर्षी लग्न करा म्हणाली. काशीयात्रेशिवाय लग्न करणार नाही असा माझा नवस आहे, असा जबाब दिला.
काही दिवसांनी मामाबरोबर यात्रेस पाठविले. मामाभाचे काशीस जाऊ लागले. जाता जाता काय झालं? वाटेत एक नगर लागलं, तिथं काही मुली खेळत होत्या, त्यात एकमेकीचं भांडण लागलं, एक गोरी भुरकी मुलगी होती, तिला दुसरी मुलगी म्हणू लागली, काय द्वाड आहे, काय द्वाड आहे! तेव्हा ती मुलगी म्हणाली, माझी आई मंगळागौरीचं व्रत करते. आमच्या कुळावंशामध्ये कोणी द्वाड नाही. मग मी तर तिची मुलगी आहे! हे भाषण मामांनी ऐकलं. त्यांच्या मनात आलं. हिच्याशी आपल्या भाच्याचं लगीन करावं म्हणजे हा दीर्घायुषी होईल. परंतु हे घडतं कसं? त्या दिवशी तिथं त्यांनी मुक्काम केला. इकडे काय झालं? त्याच दिवशी त्या मुलीचं लग्न होतं. लग्नाचे वेळेस नवरा मुलगा मांदा झाला. मुलीचे आईबापांना पंचाईत पडली.

आता मंगळागौरीच्या व्रताविषयी माहिती घेऊ. नवीन लग्न झालेल्या मुली हे व्रत करतात. श्रावणातील चारी मंगळवारी देवी अन्नपूर्णेच्या मूर्तीची पूजा करायची असते. या पूजेसाठी पाच नवविवाहितांचीही गरज असते. या पूजा करणाऱ्या मुलींना वशेळ्या असे म्हटले जाते. या मुलींना काही वस्तूंचे वाण दिलं जातं. लग्न झाल्यापासून पुढील पाच वर्षे ही पूजा करायची असते. लग्न झाल्यावर पहिल्याच वर्षी माहेरी आणि सासरी एक मंगळवार धरून हीच पूजा मोठ्या समारंभपूर्वक केली जाते.
ही पूजा म्हणजे जणू अन्नपूर्णेचा सोहळा असतो. तिला उष्णोदकाने स्नान घातले जाते. नंतर तिला शृंगारण्यात येते. त्यासाठी वेगवेगळी फुले वाहिली जातात. त्याचबरोबर जाई, जुई, मोगरा, गुलाब अशा फुलझाडांच्या पत्रीही वाहिल्या जातात. अत्तर अन् काजळही लावले जाते. नंतर दागिने घातले जातात. या दागिन्यांचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे ते धातूचे अथवा मण्यांचे नसतात. कणकेत हळद आणि तेल लावून तसेच घट्ट भिजवून दागिने तयार केले जातात. या दागिन्यांद्वारे देवीला शृंगारण्यात येते.
पूजेनंतर पिठाच्या किंवा पुरणाच्या दिव्यांनी आरती करतात. मंगळागौरीची कहाणी वाचतात. गोडधोडाचा नैवेद्य देवीला दाखवून भोजन केले जाते. दुपारनंतर देवीच्या पूजेच्या चौरंगावर सुशोभित मांडणी केली जाते. त्यासाठी सुगंधी फुले तसंच शोभेची पाने फुले वापरली जातात. त्यानंतर या देवीचे जागरण केले जाते. त्यासाठी आजूबाजूच्या मुली, बायका, नवविवाहिता यांना बोलावले जाते. या रात्री जेवत नाहीत त्याऐवजी फराळ केला जातो. म्हणजे भाजके अन्न ग्रहण करण्याची पद्धत आहे.

मंगळागौरीच्या व्रताचे उद्यापन लग्न झाल्यापासून पाचव्या वर्षी श्रावणातील शेवटच्या मंगळवारी केले जाते. उद्यापनाच्या वेळी यज्ञ केला जातो. आई वडिलांना वाण दिले जाते. मुलीने आईला सापाची मूर्ती देण्याची पद्धत आहे. त आईने मुलीला आणि जावयाला ताटामध्ये लाडू किंवा वड्या घालून देण्याची पद्धत आहे. यामागे मंगळागौरीची पारंपरिक कथा आहे. या कहाणीतला नवरदेव अल्पायुषी असतो. त्याला दंश करण्यास साप येतो. पण त्या नववधूच्या मातेने मंगळागौरीचे व्रत केल्याने हा नवरदेव वाचतो. त्यावेळी त्या सापाचे रूपांतर हारात होते. म्हणून याच्या उद्यापनाला आईला वाण म्हणून यामध्ये एकसर (काळेमणी आणि सोन्याचा मणी) जोडवी, कूंकू, कंगवा आरसा असे दिले जाते.
