“बारकुल्या बारकुल्या ष्टोऱ्या”ही उदगिरी बोलीभाषेतील प्रसाद कुमठेकर यांची आगळी वेगळी कादंबरी. गाव जीवनाचा थांग शोधणाऱ्या या कादंबरीचे‘वाचन आणि चर्चा’असा कार्यक्रम २० जानेवारी २०१८ रोजी पु.ल. देशपांडे कला अकादमी येथे पार प्रकाशन द्वारा आयोजित केला गेला.
या कार्यक्रमासाठी मुख्य वक्ते म्हणून जागतिक सिनेमाचे अभ्यासक व समीक्षक, FTII या संस्थेचे माजी डीन आणि व्याख्याते श्री समर नखाते उपस्थित होते. या प्रसंगी लेखक प्रसाद कुमठेकर यांनी बारकुल्या बारकुल्या ष्टोऱ्या या कादंबरीतील त्यांच्या खास शैलीतील अर्पण पत्रिकेचे आणि कवी व प्रकाशक महेशलीला पंडित यांनी या कादंबरीतील‘येडी बाभळ’पहिल्या प्रकरणाचे अभिवाचन केले.
श्री. समर नखाते यांनी कादंबरीचे रसग्रहण करत असताना याचे अंतरंग अत्यंत सूक्ष्म आणि हळूवारपणे उलगडून दाखवले. या प्रसंगी बोलताना ते म्हणाले‘बारकुल्या बारकुल्या ष्टोऱ्या’उदगिरी बोलीत लिहले आहे आणि मुळात सजीवतेला जोडलेल्या गोष्टींना जी व्यक्त करते तिच खरी भाषा होय. कोणतीही चांगली कलाकृती माणूस असण्याचं भान समृद्ध करत पुढे नेत राहते. आपली माणसं, रंग, त्यांची मनं, त्यांच्या छटा, त्यांच्या भाव भावना, स्वभाव या सर्वांनी मिळून माणूसपणाचं रूप तयार होतं आणि तेच कलाकृतीचे खरं सौंदर्य असतं. कुठल्याही साध्या गोष्टीत सौंदर्यउर्जा असते आणि चांगला कलाकार ते टिपून त्याला मुक्त करत असतो. आणि याचंचं निखळ निसर्गरूप आणि तितकंच निखळ माणूसरूप या कादंबरीत साकारलं गेल्याचं जाणवतं. या कादंबरीत एक कातरता आहे पण ती चिरणारी नाही, आक्रोश टाहो नाही. यात करूण,सर्हुदय धारणा पण आहे. एक समाज, एक व्यक्ती, एक समूह, एक भाषा, एक उच्चार,एक देहबोली,भाव,हालचाली,लकबी,वस्तू,वस्त्र,आरण्य, वास्तू, झाड, घरं,चवी या असंख्य गोष्टीतून इथे एक सृष्टी उभारली गेली आहे बारकुल्या बारकुल्या ष्टोऱ्याची एक सृष्टी आहे आणि ती पाहत असताना इतक्या सहज सुंदर आविष्काराची कमाल वाटते आणि आश्चर्य सुद्धा वाटत राहते. या कादंबरीचा रूपबंध हा खोल तळाचा शोध घेणारा आहे. तो कुण्या एका ठराविक व्यक्तीभोवती फिरणारा नाही; तर गाव, गावातले जीवन, तिथला पुस्तकी नसलेला जसा आहे तसा निसर्ग, त्यातले सौंदर्य, भवतालच्या वातावरणाचा शोध, तिथल्या माणसांच्या गरजा अशा विविध दृष्टीकोनातून एका मोठ्या अवकाशाला व्यापून ही कादंबरी व्यक्त होते. त्यातली अनुभूती थक्क करणारी आहे. गाडी, बंगला, उच्चभ्रू जीवन हे काहीही झालं तरी जीवनाचे स्वप्न होऊ शकत नाही. त्यात ध्येयवादाचा धागा नाही. ती एक उपभोग्य संस्कृती आहे. मानवी जीवन हे या उपभोग्य संस्कृतीच्या पल्याड जाणारे आहे. सूक्ष्म निरीक्षणाने निसर्गाचे सौंदर्य लक्षात येते. मानवनिर्मित सौंदर्य आणि निसर्गनिर्मित सौंदर्य ही जीवा शिवाची भेट झाल्यागत अवतरतात आणि हेच या कादंबरीचे यश आहे.

त्यातील उदगिरी बोलीचा गोडवा तिचा नाद आपल्या मनाला स्पर्श केल्याशिवाय राहत नाही.”‘बारकुल्या बारकुल्या ष्टोऱ्या’च्या रूपाने मराठी साहित्यात निश्चितच मोलाची भर पडली आहे. श्री समर नखाते यांच्या रसग्रहणाने श्रोत्यांना या कादंबरीची स्पष्ट तोंडओळख करून दिली. आणि सरतेशेवटी कवी व प्रकाशक महेश लीला पंडित यांनी मुख्य पाहुणे व श्रोत्यांचे आभार मानून कार्यक्रमाची सांगता केली. या कार्यक्रमाला‘चला वाचू या’या दर महिन्याला सादर होणाऱ्या अभिवाचन सादरीकरणाचे‘व्हीजन’या संस्थेचे सर्वेसर्वा लेखक, दिग्दर्शक श्री. श्रीनिवास नार्वेकर यांचे मोलाचे सहकार्य लाभले. लेखिका आणि कलाकार श्रीमती राजश्री पोतदार यांनी या कार्यक्रमाचे निवेदन केले.
