महोदय,
उपरोक्त विषयास अनुसरून निदर्शनास आणू इच्छितो की, इंडियन मेडिकल असोसिएशनचे डॉक्टर आज राज्यावर आलेल्या कोरोनाच्या संकटावर मात करण्यासाठी जीवावर उदार होऊन काम करीत आहेत. देशभर व्यापलेल्या कोरोनवर मात करण्यासाठी आज सरकारी डॉक्टर ची कमतरता भासत असताना हे डॉक्टर आज कोरोनाच्या रुग्णांना बरे करण्यासाठी विनामोबदला योगदान देत आहेत.
शासनाने सरकारी डॉक्टर व कर्मचारी यांना विविध सवलती जाहीर केल्या आहेत परंतु याचा फायदा खाजगी डॉक्टर व स्टाफ ला मिळणार नाही.कोरोना सारख्या महामारीला हद्दपार करायचे असेल तर एकत्रित येण्याची गरज आहे. त्यामुळे सरकारी डॉक्टर व स्टाफ प्रमाणे आपल्यालाही सवलती व संरक्षण मिळावे अशी मागणी इंडियन मेडिकल असोसिएशनने केली आहे.

इंडियन मेडिकल असोसिएशनच्या मागण्या.
1. सरकारने महामारी रोग अधिनियम 1987 लागू केला आहे त्यामुळे डॉक्टर, कर्मचारी आणि आरोग्यसेवक या कायद्यानुसार सेवा देत असून साथीच्या आजारांना सेवा देणे आव्हानात्मक आहे. परंतु अलीकडच्या काळात वैद्यकीय व्यवसाईकांकडे वैद्यकीय दुर्लक्ष केल्याबद्दल जाणीवपूर्वक नुकसान भरपाई मागणी केली जाते वास्तविक उपचार पद्धती व्यवस्थापीत केल्या जाणाऱ्या प्रोटोकॉल नुसार कोविड-19 आजाराचे उपचार सुरू आहेत तरीही डॉक्टर ना अडचणीत आणण्याचा काही जणांच्या प्रयत्न सुरू आहे त्यामुळे कोरोना विरुद्ध लढाई ला खीळ बसण्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही. त्यामुळे महामारी रोग अधिनियम 1987 अंतर्गत कायदेशीर तरतुदीनुसार कलम 4 मध्ये याविरुद्ध संरक्षण असल्याचा उल्लेख असून त्यामध्ये कोणत्याही गोष्टीसाठी किंवा चांगल्या श्रद्धेने काम केलेल्या कोणत्याही व्यक्तिविरुद्ध खटला किंवा इतर कायदेशीर कारवाई होणार नाही असा उल्लेख आहे. तरी कोरोना उपचारादरम्यान डॉक्टर, कर्मचारी आणि आरोग्य सेवक कर्मचाऱ्यांना संरक्षण द्यावे.
2. सरकारी डॉक्टर, नर्स, स्टाफ यांना कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर अनेक सवलती,मोबदला व इन्शुरन्स जाहीर करण्यात आले तशाचप्रकारे कोरोना बाधित रुग्णावर उपचार करणाऱ्या व शासनाने परवानगी दिलेल्या खाजगी रुग्णालयामधील डॉक्टर, नर्स व कर्मचाऱ्यांनाही हे सर्व फायदे देण्यात यावेत.
3. कोरोना वर उपचार करण्यासाठी डोंबिवली मध्ये १ सरकारी रुग्णालये आणि १ खाजगी रुग्णालय ला परवानगी देण्यात आली आहे, या ठिकाणी मोठया प्रमाणात गर्दी होते त्यामुळे येथील डॉक्टर, नर्स व कर्मचारी यांना संरक्षण मिळावे.
तरी उपरोक्त प्रकरणी तात्काळ कार्यवाही करून कोरोना वर उपचार करणाऱ्या खाजगी रुग्णालयामधील डॉक्टर, नर्स व याना सवलती, संरक्षण मिळनेबाबत तातडीने आदेश काढून सहकार्य करावे, ही विनंती.
