22 वर्षांपर्यंत स्कॉटलंडमध्ये राहिलेली पुण्याची आकांक्षा सादेकर यांना त्यांचे फ़्रेंड्स 'स्कॉटिश मुलगी' म्हणून हाक मारतात. त्या 5 एप्रिलपासून फ्रंटलाइनवर काम करत असलेल्या डॉक्टर्स, नर्स आणि इतर आरोग्य कामगारांना स्वत: च्या हातांनी बनवलेले जेवण पोहचवण्याचं काम करीत आहे. आतापर्यंत त्या 1500 हून अधिक डबे सप्लाय करून चुकल्या आहे.
आकांक्षा पुण्यात आपल्या कुटुंबाचं व्यवसाय बघते आणि या कामात त्यांचे 8 तास जातात. सोबतच त्या आपल्या मेडसह फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर्ससाठी डबे तयार करतात. आकांक्षाने सुरुवातीला त्यांच्या वैद्यकीय मित्र आणि भावासाठी डब्बा बनवण्यास सुरवात केली, परंतु एके दिवशी त्यांनी ठरवलं आणि ट्विट करून ज्या कोणाला याची गरज असेल
कळवावे असे म्हणत मोहिमेचा प्रारंभ केला. एका डब्यापासून सुरू केलेल्या या मोहिमेत आज दररोज 350 डबे पोहचवण्याचं काम सुरू आहे. संक्रमणाचा धोका वाढल्यानंतर रुग्णालयात काम करणार्या आरोग्य कर्मचार्यांचे काम देखील वाढले आहे. दिवसभर रुग्णांची सेवा करत असताना अनेक लोक असे आहेत
ज्यांच्यासाठी घरी जाऊन जेवण तयार करणे अवघड होत होते. त्यांचा त्रास कमी करण्यासाठी आकांक्षाने डबा पोहचवण्याचं काम हाती घेतलं. आकांक्षा दररोज फ्रंटलाइन कामगार, पोलिस, विद्यार्थी आणि कोविड -19 रूग्णांसाठी घरी शिजवलेले जेवण तयार करून देत आहे. ही सेवा पूर्णत: नि: शुल्क आहे. व्यवसायी आकांक्षाचा उद्देश खरोखर लोकांची सेवा करणे आहे म्हणूनच यासाठी त्या पैसे मोजत नाहीये.

यामुळे मिळाली प्रेरणा
एकेदिवशी रात्री एका डॉक्टरद्वारे केलेल्या ट्विटमुळे आकांक्षाला प्रेरणा मिळाली. महाराष्ट्रात नाइट कर्फ्यू लागल्यानंतर एक डॉक्टरला रात्री साडे नऊ वाजता घरी पोहचल्यावर पौष्टिक आहार मिळाला नाही म्हणून नूडल्सचा सहारा घ्यावा लागला. हे बघून आकांक्षाला फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर्ससाठी घरी तयार जेवण्याची प्रेरणा मिळाली.
नि:शुल्क सेवा
सध्या त्यांच्यासोबत चार जणांची टीम आहे जी दररोज 350 डबे तयार करते. आकांक्षाला आर्थिक आणि इतर मदतीची ऑफर देखील देण्यात आली आहे परंतु याक्षणी ती फक्त मित्रांकडूनच आर्थिक मदत घेत आहे. भविष्यात त्यांची पारदर्शक प्रणाली सुरू करण्याची योजना आहे, ज्यात निधी कुठे आणि काय हेतूने वापरण्यात येत आहे याची नोंद असेल.
आकांक्षा यांच्याप्रमाणे ही सेवा अशीच नि:शुल्क असेल. हा व्यवसाय नाही, गरज असलेल्यांसाठी आपण कमीत कमी एवढं करू शकतो. वैद्यकीय आणि स्पर्धात्मक परीक्षेसाठी तयारी करत असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी, पोलिस, रुग्णवाहिका चालक, डॉक्टर आणि बर्याच लोकांचा मदतीसाठी त्या तत्पर असतात. त्यांनी सांगितले की आम्ही परप्रांतीय कामगारांना गावात किंवा बसेसमध्ये परत आपल्या गावी जाणार्यांना देखील आहार पुरविण्याचा विचार करीत आहोत.
त्यांना या कामासाठी खूप प्रशंसा किंवा श्रेय घेण्याची मुळीच इच्छा नसून त्या केवळ वैयक्तिक पातळीवर हे काम करत आहे. त्यांना मसीहा किंवा जीवनरक्षक वगैरे पदवी नकोत त्या फक्त लोकांची मदत करू बघत आहेत कारण त्यांच्यामुळे एका व्यक्तीचा ताण जरी कमी झाला तर त्यांना आनंदी आणि समाधानी वाटेल असं त्या म्हणाला.
लोकांची संख्या सतत वाढत आहे
आपल्या कुटुंबाचा व्यवसाय सांभाळणारी आकांक्षा म्हणते की ती आरोग्य कर्मचार्यांसह रस्त्यावर राहणार्या भुकेलेल्या आणि बेघर लोकांना अन्न पुरवण्यासाठीही देखील प्रयत्न करीत आहे. गरजू लोकं त्यांच्या ट्विटर हँडल @scottishladki यावर आपलं नाव आणि डिटेल देतात आणि दुसर्या दिवसापासून त्यांना देखील डबा मिळू लागतो. आकांक्षा म्हणते की लोकांची संख्या सतत वाढत आहे, तरी अधिकाधिक लोकांपर्यंत पोहचण्याचा प्रयत्न करत आहे.
